I got pregnant at 18. Life over, right?
For years I struggled financially — out of work, raising my kids, living on my husband’s income and benefits. I stayed unemployed for 8 years. Somewhere along the way, I hit rock bottom. A full-blown mental breakdown after a lifetime of mental health struggles.
It took me years to recover.
But what I learned changed everything:
Life is short. Do what lights you up. There’s no room for anything else.
I started a TikTok account during lockdown and discovered a love for video editing. I figured out what worked, nailed the formula, and went viral again and again.
I grew to over 200k followers and racked up 5 million likes.
Curious how I could turn that into something more, I took a job in marketing… then a job editing up to 100 reels a day for an agency. But I craved freedom. I felt overworked, underpaid and underappreciated. I knew I had more in me.

So I launched my own social media business.
Then I hit a wall: my clients weren’t giving me the content I needed to make their socials work.
So I started offering content filming, £25 an hour (including travel, because £20 an hour still beat minimum wage).
And just like that… filming became my full-time gig.
In my first year, I built a thriving, international content creation career.
• I filmed in Bali, Morocco Multiple Times, Germany, and Portugal.
• I opened my own content studio in the UK
